Alabama Water Watch was the recipient of the 2025 Gulf Coast Marine Environmental Leadership Award

Alabama Water Watch was honored to receive the 2025 Gulf Coast Marine Environmental Leadership Award at the 2025 Marine Environmental Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025. The Marine Environmental Awards are given by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation to “organizations whose efforts have resulted in the improvement of marine environmental sustainability in the region.”

Alabama Water Watch has long had a presence on Alabama’s Coast, thanks to the Volunteer Trainers and Monitors and Program Partners who have invested in water quality monitoring, environmental education, and watershed stewardship within their communities.
