As the AWW Program Staff settles into the “new normal,” they are also adjusting to working with their new (four-legged) co-workers at home. Since they’ve worked with them about 5 weeks now, we thought we’d ask about their work habits:
It seems they have a slight tendency to sleep on the job…
But when they are awake, they are very attentive during staff meetings and insist that their input be considered on all matters. They like to supervise everything closely…
It has been suggested they have picked up on virtual work “hacks” to perhaps look a little more productive than they actually are…
It’s important to note that even though they are working from home, they still like dressing up for the occasion…
Rachel’s co-workers Rosie, Ivy, and Fern show up fashionably late
They are very vocal about workplace disagreements, preferring for everyone to just get along and keep the snacks coming…
Sergio’s co-workers Maya and Guantes (Mittens) take a snack break Carolina’s co-workers Seika and Apollo waiting for someone to come back with lunch
They play as hard as they work. Truth be told, sometimes the play leaks into normal business hours…
Despite all of the distractions these new, furry co-workers may create, they are helping all of us stay happy and healthy as we work from home in the time of COVID.
