April 22-26, 2024 is Volunteer Appreciation Week, but we love to show appreciation for our volunteers all year long! Throughout the year, we will continue to gather stories from our Volunteers statewide, and share their insights with you.
Alabama Water Watch Volunteers are some of the most enthusiastic, passionate, dedicated, and genuine people you will come across. Their commitment to environmental stewardship through monitoring and educating others is inspiring. Rain or shine, they are out in the field, sleeves rolled up, making a difference one sample at a time!
With every sample collected, test conducted, and data record entered, they aren’t just monitoring water quality – they are safeguarding Alabama’s precious waterways, protecting aquatic ecosystems, and ensuring healthy waters for generations to come.
THANK YOU to our AWW Volunteer Monitors and Trainers, for your invaluable contributions to Alabama Water Watch and the State of Alabama.
